Mica Tape for Fire-resistant Cables consist of phlogopite mica paper (or synthetic mica paper) impregnated with special silicone resin and glass fiber cloth (or Polyethylene film) as supporting agent. These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength, and their combined characteristics mean they can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical cables.

 

Resist extreme thermal stresses and give oustanding fire protection. It is made from phlogopite mica paper, retain insulation properties at 800°C, and it is made from synthetic mica paper, retain insulation properties at 1000°C
Incombustible, asbestos free and do not create toxic gasses.
Excellent tensile strength and shock resistance.
